Dressing Herself #iPPP

This was taken yesterday. My sweet girl in her last week as a 3 year old. I just love the outfit she picked out for herself.
Here is the same pic, showing both of my sweet babies.

This post was brought to you as part of #iPPP (iPhone Photo Phun). I don't have an iPhone, but love my Thunderbolt on the Android System. Anywho, most of my pics are on my phone, so I thought it fitting I finally take part.

  1. There's nothing wrong with that outfit!

  2. What would you expect a Dancing Queen to wear?

  3. Nope! Nothing wrong with it at all. I love it! It is gIrly and pink and flowy--perfect for a Dancing Queen, but nothing like her mother. Not practical for school, especially when she spends most of the day climbing in the gross motor room. And she did drop it in the toilet!

  4. You are right, Bonnie! This is exactly what a Dancing Queen would wear. There is nothing practical about it. But she sure is beautiful!

  5. With that smile, the D.Q. would be beautiful in anything!!  By the way, one of the best birthday presents I got for one of my sons to take to a 4-year old girls birthday was a bunch of tutus from a garage sale.  I think I paid a dollar and they were the hit of the day.  I also purchased a pair of white high heels with sequins but A. opted to keep those for himself.  After tottering around for weeks, he gave them up and hasn't worn heels since = ) !!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  7. That's the kind of outfits we get everyday around here. The kids take it as a personal challenge to wear every kind of pattern they can. At once.

  11. They are so adorable! I love it when parents allow their kids to dress themselves - I say life is too short to match perfectly ;)

Having a child with a CHD is like being given an extra sense---the true ability to appreciate life. Each breath, each hug, each meal is a blessing when you've watched your child live off a ventilator, trapped in an ICU bed, being fed through a tube. Each minute is a miracle when you've watched your child almost die and come back to you.
